The beautiful, pure white Garrick Theatre, with its splendid scarlet interior, sits on London’s smart Charing Cross Road in the glittering West End. It features 732 seats arranged on three levels and there are two bars, the Foyer Bar and Circle Bar. In 2005 the well-known stage producers Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer bought the theatre and added it to the Nimax stable. 2005 saw the wonderful Sheila Hancock starring in The Anniversary. 2006’s successes included One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with US actor Christian Slater. 2007 introduced Billie Piper in Treats followed by Bad Girls, The Musical. The magical Derren Brown took the stage in ’08, as did Zorro The Musical, and ’09 saw A little Night Music, The Mysteries and Change. The Little Dog Laughed in 2010 and When We Are Married thrilled audiences later than year. In 2011 The Hurly Burly show and Pygmalion were smash hits, and there’s much more in the pipeline.
